Bhakti Vriksha

🌿Core Concepts of the Bhakti-vriksha Program

-
Symbolism of the Tree: The program draws inspiration from the analogy of a tree, where each devotee or group represents a branch stemming from the original root—Lord Caitanya. This reflects the natural expansion of devotional service through interconnected communities.
-
Small Group Structure: Bhakti-vriksha groups typically consist of up to 15 members who meet weekly. These gatherings include activities such as kirtana (devotional singing), japa (chanting), discussions on philosophy, sharing of preaching experiences, and the distribution of prasada (sanctified food).
-
Training and Mentorship: New members are paired with experienced devotees who provide guidance and support, ensuring steady spiritual progress. This mentorship model emphasizes the importance of nurturing each individual's devotional journey.
-
Community Integration: Beyond weekly meetings, Bhakti-vriksha groups participate in larger congregational events, such as temple festivals and city-wide gatherings, promoting unity and shared spiritual experiences among devotees.
